Have you found yourself staying up late at night wondering how you can have a better relationship with yourself and have the life you have always wanted? Perhaps you feel confused, sad, or worried. Maybe you feel stuck in a relationship and are unsure of what to do differently. Individual therapy can help you better understand and manage these difficult emotions, heal from hurtful experiences, and grow as an individual to better know and understand yourself.

Individual therapy, sometimes called "psychotherapy" or "counseling," is a process through which a client works one-on-one with a trained therapist to explore their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors in a safe, confidential, and caring environment. We will work together to identify aspects of your life that you would like to change, set individualized goals, and work towards the desired change.

People seek therapy for a variety of reasons and at all stages of their life. From coping with major life challenges, childhood trauma, a difficult breakup, to dealing with depression and anxiety, to managing relationships in a healthier way, or to simply desiring personal growth and greater self knowledge. Therapist and client may only meet for five to six sessions or as long as several years, depending on the client's unique needs and personal goals for therapy.
