We utilize the Prepare/Enrich program as an assessment tool for pre-marital and couples counseling. Prepare/Enrich allows us to really know the couple’s strengths and areas for growth much better than if we were doing a more traditional talk therapy assessment. The assessment is comprehensive and concise. It gives us a guideline for what areas need the most work. The goal is to build strong marriages, which in turn build strong families. Any couple can benefit. The assessment is research-based and tailored for premarital couples, married couples, and even dating couples. During your initial visit, each partner will receive a link to complete an online individual assessment. At our next follow-up session, we will review the results of the assessment, which will give us specific goals for therapy and prioritize the areas in which need the most work. The couple will each receive a copy of their results and a copy of the Prepare/Enrich Couple’s Workbook which we will utilize throughout the therapy process.
